Seniors Championship
|
In 1978, when the Seniors Championship meeting was initiated, John and Irene Holmes presented the County Union with a silver Challenge Cup to be held for one year by the winner of the Seniors Championship. From 1978 the championship was decided over 18 holes stroke play until 1993 when it was decided to play the Championship over 27 holes.
