County Championship
| From 1894 to 1925 the County Championship was decided by 36 holes Stroke Play. From 1926 it has been decided by match play after a qualifying round of 36 holes stroke play. |

Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Channel Island Open Championship
| 1967 saw the introduction of the Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Channel Islands Open Championship, a 36 holes scratch stroke play event, under the sponsorship of the Parkersell Company of Winchester. |

Foursomes Championship
| In 1953 The Foursomes Championship was introduced into the Unions fixture list and fort that year was decided by match play. |

Club Champions and Invitation Tournament for the Courage Trophy
| In 1963 Courage Ltd entered the sponsorship of amateur golf and in conjunction with Henry Cotton and this Union, arranged their first tournament for Club Champions at Queens Park, Bournemouth and presented a trophy. |

Seniors Championship
| In 1978, when the Seniors Championship meeting was initiated, John and Irene Holmes presented the County Union with a silver Challenge Cup to be held for one year by the winner of the Seniors Championship. |

Dumbleton Memorial Foursomes
| Although the Dumbleton Memorial Foursomes, so named in memory of the late Colonel H N Dumbleton, Honorary Secretary of the County Union from 1912 to 1935, have been played since 1936, no trophies for this event existed until 1963. |

Green Cup
| In 1967 Mr T B Green presented to the County Union a silver cup to be held for one year by the competitor returning the best net score over 36 holes in the qualifying rounds of the County Championship. |

Hunt Salver
| In 1964 Mr Pat Hunt MC., then President, and Mr John Hunt , presented a silver salver to be held for one year by the competitor of Colts age 21 and under on the date of the first day of the Championship Meeting. |

Slater Memorial Cup and Hunt Salver
| In 1959 Mrs Slater, widow of the late Major Philip H Slater, who for many years as a member of the Bramshott and North Hants Golf Clubs had been a keen supporter of golf in Hampshire, presented to the Union a silver cup in his memory. |

Pechell Salver
| In 1960 Lt. Col. Sir Paul Pechell, Bart. MC. then President, presented a silver salver to be held for one year by the competitor returning the best gross score in the qualifying rounds of the County Championship. |

Junior Championship
| Although since the first Junior Championship Meeting in 1951 there has been a scratch stroke play event for boys not exceeding 14 years of age it was not until 1957 that a trophy was presented by the Golf Foundation. |

Boys Championship
| In 1951, when the Junior Championship Meeting was introduced into the County fixture list, Lt Col. Sir Paul Pechell, Bart. MC , President of the Union that year presented a trophy to be held by the winner for one year. |

Youth Championship
| In 1951 to commemorate the first Junior Championship Meeting being played on the course of the Blackmoor Golf Club, Colonel R Weddell, Secretary of that Club, presented a cup to be held for one year by the winner of this scratch stroke play event. |
